New album as shown on Tony Awards official website.

You watched, you loved what you saw, and don’t want it to end. Then maybe you want to purchase the second annual Tony Award® Season compilation album. Tony Award Productions and Broadway Records have unveiled the album which is now on iTunes and will be released on CD at most major music retailers including Barnes & Noble and iTunes on June 8, 2018. The CD is now available for pre-order at BroadwayRecords.com and Amazon.com. A portion of the proceeds from the album will go to the American Theatre Wing and Broadway League’s charitable initiatives.

Each musical that opened on Broadway during the 2017-2018 season, including the 2018 Tony-nominated musicals, was invited to contribute a song to this new compilation album. A pair of the plays that opened on Broadway this season contributed tracks as well.

The album also includes bonus tracks to represent this year’s Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre honorees, Chita Rivera and Andrew Lloyd Webber. There is also a classic cut from The Phantom of the Opera to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the longest-running show in Broadway history.
