‘Broomstick’ to Play in Long Branch Through Oct. 13, 2013

broomstick

A new play entitled Broomstick is now running in Long Branch at the New Jersey Repertory Company Theatre. The limited run will go until October 27, 2013.

The play is set in a remote cabin deep in the woods where an old crone lives in her own unique world. As she unveils her life, we journey with her down a shadowy path somewhere between our material world and the realm of fantasy. Wickedly funny and sometimes frightening, she takes us back to our childhood, when in our innocence, we first wrestled with good and evil.

The book for this show was written by John Biguenet and this production is directed by SuzAnne Barabas. Andrea Gallo stars in this one-woman production set in the mountains of Appalachia.

This is a great time of year to visit the shore and get to see a new show at the same time. Call the NJ Rep Box Office at 732-229-3166 or visit www.njrep.org to reserve seats online.
