If you have a chance, read Michael Riedel’s column today in the New York Post. He has some interesting insights into a new play, not a musical, that is due to open this fall on Broadway. The show is called “It’s Only a Play” by Terrence McNally and it will star that dynamic duo Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick. According to Riedel, they are proving again that they are Broadway gold as the show has already brought in $5.5 million making it the top earner of the fall. By the way, the show’s first preview is August 28th and it won’t open until Oct. 9th. I’m taking a wild guess here that tickets for this show might be hard to come by and a bit on the high end – supply and demand theory.
